CrossFit is a fitness program that produces measurable outcomes through lifestyle changes, focused on training and nutrition. Workouts consist of constantly varied, high-intensity, functional movements performed with a community that supports you through it all.
What does a crossfit class entail?
- Warm-Up:
- your coach will prep your body for the workout of the day!
- you'll elevate your heart rate and run through a series of mobility and activation drills for the day.
- Skill/Strength Work:
- Practice specific movements and/ or build strength in key areas under the watchful eyes of your coach!
- this includes weightlifting, gymnastics, and bodyweight movements.
- Workout of the Day (WOD):
- the high-intensity workout for the day
- these combine various functional movements such as lifting, running, jumping, rowing, and more.
- every single workout is scalable to your current fitness & ability levels!
- Scaling & Modifications:
- Workouts are adjusted to fit your individual abilities!
- this guarantees a challenging but manageable workout for everyone.
- Cool Down & Stretching:
- guided cool-downs to help with post-workout recovery.
- Coaching & Feedback:
- you'll receive Continuous guidance from coaches throughout the entire hour!
